SYNOPSIS
The show opens with two scientists exploring why “good sounds sound good.” In the course of researching the historical roots of science they take the audience back in time to ancient Greece. There Theana (daughter of the Olympic athlete Milo) meets a wandering student named Pythagoras, who has left his home on the island of Samos to travel the world in search of knowledge. He is fascinated by mathematics and the relationship of numbers and geometry to the living world around him. He meets his match when he meets Theana, who offers her own intriguing insights about music. Together they establish a school dedicated to the study of music, geometry and numbers.
